We recently received a large delivery from Echo, all the items including new frames and freewheels have been added to our site ready for purchase. The TR and SL freewheels are particularly impressive, their mechanism is extremely positive and the bearing system is serviceable and runs very smoothly.

Pictures of the new frames (ZOO! Lynx, ZOO! Piranha, Echo Pure '09, Echo Lite '09, Echo Lite Disc '09 and Echo Kid) have now been added to our site and can be seen in their respective frame categories. We are very impressed with the quality and construction for the price!

Our server was the victim of some very unfortunate circumstances this Sunday, when both hard drives failed and lost all data back to the Sunday previous.

This means that some orders will not have completed successfully over the weekend (please call us as shown by our website if you did receive an error message), some will need their order numbers changing (which we will do here and you will experience no problems with your order) and others will not appear in your order history until we have re-entered the orders this week.

Please bear with us while we rectify any problems caused by the server failure, we estimate that this will take around two complete days.

Priority will be given to weekend orders, allowing us to dispatch the majority of them today.

Danny MacAskill has been working on a new video for some time and it's finally been released... We knew it would be good but nobody was prepared for this!

It's already taken the internet by storm and is today's Top Rated Sport video on YouTube, currently with 2400 favourites compared to 196 for 2nd place, and downloading has been disabled on Vimeo for using too much bandwidth!

Update 21st April: The video is currently '#1 - Top Rated (Today) - Global' on YouTube - meaning it is the top rated video on YouTube today, truly amazing!

UPDATE 20th April, 11:30am:

Our backlog of non-workshop orders is now cleared but there is still a small delay with wheel and bike builds of approximately 2 days. Ali C will be back shortly after 6 weeks off with a broken ankle so we will be back up to speed once again!


UPDATE 16th April, 2pm:

We are still working flat out to clear our backlog of orders (which doesn't seem to be diminishing!!) so please be aware that there still may be a slight delay with the dispatch of your order. The main area in which we are backed up is the workshop, where bikes and wheelbuilds are running a little behind schedule. We are very sorry if there is a short delay with your order but we are doing all we can!

UPDATE 14th April, 4pm:

We have a huge backlog of orders from the weekend and are working through them as quickly as possible. Please note that this backlog will continue through Wednesday and there may still be a slight delay with orders placed towards the end of this day also. As always, priority will be given to customers who have selected Next Day delivery services, so we strongly recommend upgrading to Next Working Day delivery if you need your parts the next day.


Just a quick message to inform all our customers that we will be closed for the Bank Holiday Weekend from 5pm Thursday 9th April to 9am Tuesday 14th April. During this time our telephone lines will be closed, emails will be unmonitored but online ordering will be functioning as normal.

This means that all orders placed after 2pm on Thursday will be dispatched on Tuesday (orders placed before this time should be dispatched as normal on Thursday).

Orders dispatched with a Next Working Day service on Thursday will NOT be delivered on Friday or Monday, instead they will be delivered on Tuesday. Royal Mail 1st Class deliveries are taking place on Saturday but not Friday or Monday.

We now have a system in place to provide automatic delivery quotes for international customers. It covers:

Small items (such as cranks, brake pads, clothing etc) up to a delivery weight of 2kg for all worldwide destinations on Royal Mail air delivery services.
- Two delivery options are present for Royal Mail so if you require additional insurance then that can be added too.

Large items (includes some complete bikes, all frames, rims, wheels, forks etc) for all European locations using DPD delivery.
- We can now send a frame and a pair of wheels using a 2-3 day service to Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg for only £12! (Full insurance can be added at a cost of £8 if required.) Other European regions such as Austria (£14), Spain (£16), Estonia (£20), and Romania (£34) are included in this new system too but as they are further away delivery takes a little longer (but claimed times are all under 1 week).

In order for us to offer the best postage prices, items over 2kg to be sent outside Europe will still use our manual postage quotation system, but it may be possible to integrate automatic delivery quotes for these in future also.
