KMC Z1eHX Narrow 3/32" in the standard 'shiny' nickel plate finish has been discontinued by KMC. We won't be able to restock once the current stock has sold out. It has been replaced by the anti-rust 'EPT' coating, which is a less shiny, more durable finish. Please see the product pictures for a comparison!

- The replacement for the Z610 HX, the super tough new KMC Z1eHX!
- 3/32" has a 7.8mm pin width. The 1/8" version has a 9.31mm pin width.
- Suitable for use on e-Bikes!
- EPC coating helps prevent corrosion and improve chain life.
- Mushroom head pins to eliminate splayed links.
- 'HX' designation means that this uses KMC's "Heavy Duty" design process, ensuring it's more than up to the job!
- Stretch proof design helps prevent stretch in the plates, a common cause of breaking. This also means less frequent adjustment is necessary when the chain is new (especially noticeable on bikes with horizontal dropouts).
- 1370kg max. load capacity.
- Available in 1/8" Wide or 3/32" Narrow boxed versions with 112 links or 3/32" Narrow unboxed version.
- Not suitable for use with gears.
- Weight = 322g (96 links)
- Split link not included with unboxed chains. We do not recommend using these on a trials bike, instead preferring to join the chain as normal with a tool. The chain will come with the joining link attached to one end of the chain, ready to join once it has been split to the correct length for your bike.
- Split links are sold separately if you need one here please note we do not recommend using split links or joining links for trials.

Excellent chain

I was a long time user of K810 chains but having taken some advice from the guys at TartyBikes am now a complete convert to the Z610. The chains are simple, no nonsense affairs that seem to stretch very little and seem very strong for the very reasonable weight. Would definitely recommend.

This chain is lighter than the KMC K710 Kool chain, yet it stretches much less and in my experience last longer too. Very reliable chain.
