- With the discontinuation of the popular Der Kaiser 26" tyre we've found a great alternative, the Maxxis DHF ST DH 26" tyre!
- Proven tread pattern used across the Maxxis DHF range of tyres gives excellent all round grip on a variety of terrain.
- Siped centre and side knobs allow the tread to deform to the terrain for ferocious grip even on wet and loose surfaces.
- DH casing features an extra butyl layer sandwiched in-between two 60 TPI layers that make up the tyre carcass. Sitting just above the rim bead, the extra layer provides protection against pinch flats and increased tyre sidewall support, ideal for low pressures!
- ST (Super Tacky) compound rubber has a durometer reading of 42a and is used across the entire tread profile for consistent grip at all tyre angles.
- ST compound rubber is very soft, so may not last as long as harder compound rubbers.
- This tyre measures 2.28" when inflated on a 47mm wide rim. This is because the tyre has a less rounded profile on a rim this wide, and the side tread sits more 'upright'. Narrower rims will result in a slightly wider profile.
- We recommend running the tread in a reverse direction as pictured for ultimate edge grip!
