Hope V4 Vented Rotor

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Hope Technology have announced they are suspending the Bronze colour option until January 2025. This is due to concerns about quality control, and colour consistency. Hope strive to produce the best finish possible on all their products, and they feel there are improvements that can be made to the Bronze finish for a more consistent colour across their range of parts. All special order for parts in Bronze colour are suspended until further notice, but the colour will return in January! We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

- The Hope V4 Vented rotor is a heavy-duty disc rotor, ideal for e-bikes and high heat applications like downhill and cargo bike riding!
- Due to their extra weight, e-bikes require more force to slow down and consequently generate more heat through their braking systems. The vented design uses internal fins sandwiched in between two steel braking surfaces to effectively dissipate that heat.
- An alloy mounting spider further aids heat dissipation and makes the rotor stiffer, helping to prevent distortion under heavy braking.
- Internal fins aid wet weather braking by allowing water to clear from the braking surface via the holes drilled into the rotor, channelling water into the vents and away from the braking surface.
- Despite them being designed primarily for e-bike and downhill use, the V4 rotors are at home on all types of bikes.
- Please note: due to the braking surface depth on these rotors, we do not recommend them for use with Hope Mono Trial or Trial Zone calipers, however they match well with all other Hope brakes, plus Magura MT series, Shimano and others.
- Size-specific rotor arm designs optimise strength for the different sizes available while reducing weight where possible.
- ISO 6-bolt disc rotor bolt pattern is compatible with a huge range of hubs.
