- Supplied as a pair of inserts and valves!
- Improve tyre performance while protecting your tyre and rim.
- NOT suitable for use with innertubes.
- Designed from the ground up here in the UK, the Rimpact Original tubeless tyre inserts - complete with Rimpact Unblockable valves!
- Ideal for increasing tyre performance while also protecting both your tyre and rim.
- As used by our very own
Ali Clarkson and
Ben Travis!
- Insert designs means a reduction in tyre roll, an increase in vibration and impact damping, and a reduction in punctures.
- Closed cell foam ensures that it won't absorb any sealant, preventing wastage.
- High density, cross-linked polyethylene construction prevents tears and rips, and helps hold its shape after repeated impacts.
- Top quality aluminium Presta valves have a 'unblockable' design - the ports in the head of the valve exit the side of the head, rather than the top!
- This design means that the insert can't block the top of the valve (a common issue with regular valves) but is still compatible with sealant injectors.
- 44mm length valves are compatible with the majority of rims.
- Presta valves are also compatible with Schrader drilled rims, up to a maximum valve hole size of 9.5mm, thanks to the tapered head of the valve. If taping your own rims, we recommend making as small a hole in them for the valve as possible to ensure a better seal.
- Available for 24" and 26" wheels.
- Compatible with inner rim widths of 23-35mm, and tyres between 2.3" and 2.6".
- Rimpact recommend using 25% more sealant than normal to ensure adequate coverage and protection, however for trials use we would add 50%, given that very few of the tyres we run are tubeless compatible (so will take additional sealant to seal the tyre).
- For installation instructions, follow Rimpact's guidelines
here. We highly recommend ensuring that the tyre bead is in the centre of the rim well as much as possible when fitting the second bead - it makes life much easier!
- Supplied as a pair of tyre inserts and a pair of valves.
- Weight: approx. 85g per 26" insert.
A Pain to Fit - but worth every penny

First, when these are new, they are a pain to fit. I've put these on my MTB, so I knew it was going to be hard, but if you put them on a rim and leave them for an hour or so in a warm place they do start to keep a round shape which makes fitting them much easier. I'm glad that I'm running these in the rear on my Fourplay as I'm 115KG, and so any drops and gaps to a square edge will most likely taco any rim I use. They get the job done perfectly, and anyone concerned about the price or the weight needs to think about the cost saving of not having to replace a damaged rim, probably ever again.

Thanks for the review! The Rimpact Inserts are becoming a must-have for Street riders, the extra protection they offer when running tubeless can really help protect your rims. Rimpact also have some great fitting guides on their website to help make installation as easy as possible!
First impressions

Fitted to spank rims running continental air kings on my Inspired Arcade. After my first ride and adjusting tyre pressures to suit I found that even the biggest gaps hitting edges hard Rimpact did it’s job, no rimming out noise or horrible feelings. I am still yet to try a rail with them. Fitting- I was actually dreading fitting these and thought it was going to be near impossible to squeeze such a large insert into a thin rim. The profiled inserts took me by surprise as they sat inside the rim and invited me to continue. The last 6 inches were obviously I little tight but I found it quite easy to stretch the insert and pop it over. Pro tip-fully seat your tyre on the rim before fitting then break the bead on one side only. This will help later when inflating the tyre. Great product light and good first impression.

Hi Liam - we're glad to hear your inserts are working well for you! That's a good tip about fitting the insert. We also highly recommend making sure the tyre bead is nicely in the well in the centre of the rim when you're trying to get the tyre over the lip of the rim as this gives you the extra movement you need. It makes a huge difference!
Thanks for the review.
