This is a workshop service, not an item that will be sent to you

- Want your headset to run more smoothly, and last longer?
- Reaming and facing your head tube means the bore and ends run perfectly flat and parallel, which improves the life and performance of your headset.
- If you want this doing to your frame before it's delivered, simply add this item to your basket and we'll take care of the rest.
- Obviously, you'll need to order a frame at the same time!
- Can be done on an existing frame you already have. Removal/refitting of an existing headset will be subject to an additional charge.
- All work is carried out by professionally trained mechanics with more than 5 years workshop experience across a full range of cycling disciplines.

Please note this is not available for frames which take internal headsets!

We try and keep prices for these items as low as possible, and we feel that these are more than reasonable prices to pay for professionally trained mechanics to work on your bike.

Sent my son’s Mafiabikes Bomma frame in as I couldn’t get the headset to load nicely. Very irritating for my son doing wheelies. I tried a few LBS in Portsmouth without success. I’ve previously bought spares for Magura brakes from Tarty and saw facing was available. Arrived at Tartybikes on Friday, received a call from Charlie on Monday to confirm the work was complete and was to be posted. Arrived back at us Tuesday. Very happy with the result. A 10 out of 5 star service. Highly recommended. Thanks.
