IMPORTANT UPDATE: Hope Technology have announced they are suspending the Bronze colour option until January 2025. This is due to concerns about quality control, and colour consistency. Hope strive to produce the best finish possible on all their products, and they feel there are improvements that can be made to the Bronze finish for a more consistent colour across their range of parts. All special order for parts in Bronze colour are suspended until further notice, but the colour will return in January! We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
- Available in a huge range of axle standards!
- Super reliable and easy to service.
- Made in the UK!
- The new Pro 5 rear hub from Hope has been redesigned from the ground up, offering some significant upgrades over the legendary Pro 4!
- The Hope Pro series hubs have a reputation for bulletproof reliability, a complete catalogue of spare parts and versatile, modular axle fitments. The Hope Pro 5 is one of the leading after market hubs available.
- Designed, machined and assemble right here in the UK at Hope's Barnoldswick factory, the Pro 5 is engineered to the highest standards and tested rigorously to perform in the worst of the UK weather.
- New 108 point engagement utilises a 6 pawl offset design where 3 pawls are engaged at any time on the 54 tooth ratchet ring.
- A redesigned spring and pawl greatly reduce rotational friction. Material removed from the centre of the spring reduces spring force and free hub drag.
- Wider pawls now sit inside the spring, which acts as a pawl seat inside the free hub. This helps increase load capacity and reduce wear of the free hub body pawl seats.
- New drive side labyrinth seal has zero drag and improved sealing against water and dirt ingress. It's also now much easier to remove and install the seals and free hub!
- Main axle has been machined with increased distance between the free hub bearings to improve stiffness. A taper on the drive side allows for a larger diameter drive side bearing for increased strength and durability.
- A new 2014 grade T6 alloy hub shell increases stiffness with sleek, new, laser etched Pro 5 graphics!
- Standard 6 bolt disc fitting compatible will all 6 bolt rotors on the market.
Centre lock is now also available, please get in touch!
- Available in axle standards to fit almost every frame on the market! Hubs axle end caps can be changed to a variety of fitments on most hubs, making them a long term investment that can be used on a huge variety of builds.

What a big difference from the Hope Pro 4
Posted by THE-D-MAN
I've noticed that there's less drag than the Hope Pro 4, nearly seamless engagement. The hub engages so much quicker and it's definitely noticeable. From engaging every 8.2 degrees on the Pro 4, to every 3.3 degrees, it's just fantastic. If you're worried about upgrading, don't be, Hope made an incredible hub and you can trust it completely.

Thanks for the great review, D-Man!
That extra engagement and drag reduction is really noticeable on the new Pro 5. The extra third pawl engaging is responsible for that improved pick up and helps to distribute load more evenly too!
