This bike is supplied with a 6 month warranty covering manufacturing and materials defects. The warranty does not cover mistreatment or poor maintenance. Please ensure all the details on the warranty sheet supplied with the bike are adhered to. Certain circumstances (such as stripped threads or rounded crank arm tapers) only occur due to a lack of correct maintenance and all manufacturers are aware of these situations, so any claims due to incorrect maintenance procedures are much less likely to be successful.
We build this bike to a 100% complete state in our workshop before dispatch to ensure all items are manufactured correctly and nothing is missing, but we do have to remove some parts to ensure there is no damage during transit. You will need some basic tools (usually 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm allen keys and a 15mm spanner) for final assembly upon arrival. We have a video guide here to help, but please don't hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.
Great bike!

First off, excellent service from you guys at Tartybikes! The bike itself, dual disc version. Very light, well built, seems to want to fly up everything! The freewheel sounds really good, the tyres are very grippy, loving the handle bars too! My only gripe with it is the brakes, the pads have a bit of play in them within the caliper, but it's very minimal, they work well so no problems with the performance. I would definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking for a 20 inch that isn't breaking the bank!

Hi Robert!
Thanks for the review, and the kind words. It's great to hear you like your new bike!
Once your brakes and pads have bedded in more the pad knock/rock should reduce. It's typically just a case of the brake pistons bedding in/wearing through the finish on the back of the brake pad backing. You can accelerate this by taking the pads out and sanding the back of them a little, but just riding should see it disappear.
Realy good light weight bike.

Ordered Varial 1010 disc with echo urban 2016 bash guard, Jitsie Seatpost and saddle combo, and 170mm cranks as added extras and out of the box it has performed excellently. After a couple weeks getting use to the bike I have found an interesting ability to 'feel' the rebound from the wheel/inner tube for compressing before side hops etc. Wanted to run the saddle as I'm getting older now and sitting for a rest every now and again caused a dirty bum I was getting annoyed with. Did take it off for a ride to get an idea for weight cost and it was nothing, saddle fits bottom ok and it's not that wide to get in the way (to get this option email tartybikes and they will email you on how to add to your basket, was hassle free). Gives great poise and well made and my trials mates gave me the thumbs up after doing 'the pass it around' thing. Cheers tartybikes!
