- CAST is a new brand based in Germany owned by a collective of riders, athletes, and engineers with a passion for gravity riding, trials, BMX and slope style. With the help of some of the world's best riders across these disciplines, their goal is to develop products to help these athletes push the limits of their sport, and provide them with long term support in exchange for their expert input to design the best possible, discipline specific products.
- The Stunt Double 24" is the result of extensive testing and rider development by Danny MacAskill and Fabio Wibmer to create the ultimate all round street trials tyre bringing elements of MTB and Downhill disciplines into the design for ultimate performance across a range of terrain and riding styles.
- The unique 'square profile' tread increases surface contact for more control on skinny features. Square pockets within the tread profile allow for tread deformation, providing grip on off camber, and uneven surfaces on a terrain.
- Large centreline tread helps aid smooth, and fast rolling while minimising torsion in the tread during spins and fast changes in direction.
- Side tread features a ramped pocket design to help improve tread stability on the tyre edge.
- Dual ply construction gives increased sidewall stability at lower pressures, and increases the overall durability of the tyre compared to singly ply tyres.
- Dual compound tread, with a firmer 59A centre tread, and softer 57A side tread for a balance between grip and durability.
- A folding tyre bead helps keep the weight down.
- Fully tubeless compatible! The Stunt Double has been designed with tubeless set up in mind when fitted to a tubeless compatible rim, a first for a 24" trials specific tyre. It can also be used with standard inner tubes.
