Upgrade replacement pistons from Hope for high heat applications.
Compatible with V4 and E4 brakes.
Not suitable for trials!

- New from Hope, the hybrid phenolic piston!
- Hybrid design of a phenolic insert with a stainless steel sleeve. This increases piston wear life and helps manage heat build up by isolating the outer piston surface in contact with the seal and brake fluid from the inner phenolic surface in contact with the brake pad backing.
- Ideal for high heat applications like Enduro, Downhill and Cargo / E-bikes!
- NOT suitable for trials! The inner phenolic insert 'floats' within the stainless sleeve, which means there is movement in the centre of the piston. This is normal and helps with heat dissipation, but will result in increased pad movement for trials riding.
- Available in two sizes, Small (16mm) and Large (18mm).
- Small size is compatible with E4 calipers.
- Pistons sold individually.
- To replace all the pistons in one V4 Caliper, you would need to order 2 x Large and 2 x Small pistons.
- To replace all the pistons in one E4 Caliper, you would need to order 4 x Small pistons.

Additional Information
