Choosing the correct sized tyre for the rear of a 20" wheeled trials bike can be quite confusing!
Many trials bikes have a 19" rear rim, but the tyre itself is marked as 20" on the sidewall. The 20" size refers to the overall diameter of the wheel once the tyre has been fitted, but in order to give a larger tyre volume the rim is downsized to 19". All the tyres in this category are labelled on their sidewall as 20" but are designed to fit a 19" rim.
Nearly all modern trials bikes use a 19" rear rim and 20" front rim, however there are a few exceptions. These include Onza T-Vee and Rip, YaaBaa 449 plus others. If your bike has a 20" rear rim then you will need to select a tyre from our 20" Tyres category.
