- A recess running all around the outside of the washers holds an O-ring which keeps the washers on your slave cylinder, making setting up the brake considerably less fiddly than other models.
- Aluminium construction makes these much more durable than regular plastic versions. This allows for finer adjustment as the washers do not develop grooves where the brake has been clamped before.
- Suitable for all hydraulic rim brake cylinders when used with clamps that require cylinder washers.
- Slave cylinder shown in pictures not included, it is for illustrative purposes only.

After years of faffing about with HS33’s on a number of bikes, I spotted these. Previously, I’ve never been able to get the brakes set up to with a couple of mm of the rims, as the standard plastic cylinder washers have too much flex in them and tend to deform once torqued down, so that they become ridged on the inside and then can’t be adjusted finely as they slip between notches that have formed on the inside of the washer. In comparison, these are miraculous. Easy to fit and much easier to get initially snug, but with fine adjustment then available so that you can get them set up just so before finally tightening to the correct torque. I am buying another set of these beauties for another bike. A great Trialtech product and the usual impeccable Tartybikes service.

I'll admit it, I was placing an order for Magura brake clamps, and when Adam recommended these washers, I was a wee bit dubious - they're round-ish washers, and round-ish washers is round-ish washers, right? There's only so much room for improvement on something so simple. But, I was placing an order anyway, and for $5, figured I'd give it a try. Daggone. These things are freaking awesome! They don't get stuck in the grooves on the calipers like the standard Magura plastic washers tend to after being tightened a few times, and they offer exquisite position adjustment as a result. My brakes are better aligned than they've ever been, and the difference in brake grab/hold is noticeable. If you're running clamps that use washers, do yourself a favor, and get these little gems!!
