JAF Bikes returns to the trials parts, and accessories market with some exciting new products, made right here in the UK!
- Two versions available for Clean, and standard 10mm post tensioner mounts.
- Replaceable skids for long service life.
- Made in the UK!
- Made right here, in the UK, by veteran of the UK riding scene, and fabrication specialist, Josh Leech!
- The JAF Chain Torsion-er was designed as an improvement to traditional roller tensioners, making adjustment, and fitting easier while maintaining performance and durability!
- 3D printed construction from high strength polymer for a light, and durable construction.
- Removable, and replaceable skids to keep your tensioner running when parts eventually wear out.
- A unique torsion bar design replaces the traditional coil spring found in most tensioners. Not only is this far more durable, the tension is also effectively 'pre-set' once you've made your adjustments during initial set up, allowing you to fit, and remove the tensioner without having to re-adjust the spring tension every time.
- Torsion bars are replaceable, if yours is damaged, or worn out, they are easily replaced with basic tools!
- Supplied with an additional lower skid, allowing for a range of different set-ups, depending on your preference.
- Available in two variations: Clean fit, and Standard fit.
- Weight: 29.9g (Clean fit) / 24.2g (Standard fit).
Clean Fit
- Designed for use with Clean frames
ONLY.
- Unique 'quick fit' design for tool free fitting, and easy removal.
- Replaces the frame insert used in Clean frames, saving weight, and removing the potential for damaged bolts, and stripped threads.
- Can be set up as 'twin guide' like a traditional roller tensioner, or a single guide, pushing the chain up using only the lower skid.
Standard Fit
- Designed for use with frame using a 10mm post mount insert (Crewkerz, Extention, Ozonys, Comas Kala etc). May fit other types of frame using a 10mm post mount insert, please get in touch if you are unsure if this tensioner is right for your bike!
- Can be set up as 'twin guide' like a traditional roller tensioner, or a single guide, pushing the chain up using only the lower skid.
